Digimon Frontier Overview
Long ago, the Digital World was devided between the beast and human Digimon. The two sides battled for supremacy, endangering the world they lived in. The Digital World's prayers were answered when a great holy angel Digimon dropped from the sky, ending the war, casting the Digital World into an era of peace. With Lucemon having complete control of the Digital World, he soon began to do whatever he wanted. Gradually, Lucemon transformed into a fearless dictator. Ten courageous rebels rose up, trying to stop the tyrant. It took all their strengh and spirit to seal Lucemon away into the dark area in the center of the Digital World. The Warrior Ten, badly damaged, chose three celestial angel Digimon (Ophanimon, Cherubimon, and Seraphimon) to share the role of, once again, regaining peace in the Digital World. Before dying, the Warrior Ten split their spirits in half (a Human and a Beast Spirit). The celestial angels were given the task of protecting these Spirits.

Once again, the Digital World lived in a time of peace. The celesetial angels were able to bring fair rule to the lands of the Digital World. Cherubimon began to feel beneath the human angels, Seraphimon and Ophanimon, being a beast Digimon himself. Lucemon, still sealed within the dark area, sensing Cherubimon's feelings of exclusion, tempted him to turn on his fellow angels. Cherubimon converted to his virus form and attacked Seraphimon and Ophanimon. They were able to escape, but Seraphimon was badly damaged. Ophanimon took him to his castle to regenerate his strengh. She then hid their 5 Spirits around the Digital World before being captured and imprisioned in Cherubimon's castle. Ophanimon was able to call human children from the real world to the Digital World via their cell phones. Upon crossing the gate, the Digital World chose the 5 children destined to become the Legendary Warriors.

Takuya, Koji, Zoe, J.P., and Tommy arrived in the Digital World, noticing their cell phones had transformed into Digivices. Luckly, the village they arrived at was home to Bokomon and Neemon, two friendly Digimon who were willing to lead the kids around the Digital World. The DigiDestined were able to uncover their hidden Human Spirits throughout the lands of the Digital World. Takuya, the outgoing leader, became the Flame Warrior, Agunimon. Koji, the lonewolf of the group, became Lobomon, the Warrior of Light. Kumamon, the Warrior of Ice, came to life when Tommy, the youngest of the group, had the courage to face such a task. Kazemon was born when Zoe, the independent and only girl of the group, found her Spirit of Wind. J.P. became discouraged when the others had their Spirits and could become Digimon, while he hadn't found his. J.P. eventually gained his Spirit of Thunder after realizing he could be just as helpful with or without being a Digimon.

Cherubimon had his own plans though. He set out to find hosts for his 5 Spirits that he took with him. He plans to collect enough fractal code to free Lucemon from the dark area. The Spirit of Darkness was too powerful for a normal Digimon to use, so Cherubimon had other plans. Meanwhile, Grumblemon, Warrior of Earth, was the first of the Evil Legendary Warriors to encounter the DigiDestined. Slide Evolving into Gigasmon, the Beast Spirit of Earth, he was able to defeat the children no problem. The children now knew of the Beast Spirits and knew they must find them in order to save the Digimon's World. Back at their base, Mercuremon, Warrior of Steel; Ranamon, Warrior of Water; Arbormon, Warrior of Wood; and Duskmon, Warrior of Darkness began scheming.

Koji, the first of the DigiDestined to discover his Beast Spirit of Light, was able to Beast Spirit Evolve into KendoGarurumon, saving a Gotsumon colony from Grumblemon. Koji had trouble controlling the Spirit though, as this Spirit was a lot more powerful and wild than the Human Spirit. A Sharmanmon was able to find the Beast Spirit of Flame, using it to evolve into BurningGreymon. Agunimon was able to defeat him, gaining the Spirit, and Slide Evolving into BurningGreymon. Out of control, BurningGreymon almost killed Tommy, but Takuya was able to gain control of the Spirit.

Grumblemon, Ranamon, Mercuremon, and Arbormon followed the DigiDestineds on their way to Seraphimon's castle. Sorcermon let the children in after flashing their Digivices as proof. The children were able to free Seraphimon from his regeneration crystal using their Digivices. Seraphimon explained what had happened and why they were called to the Digital World. He let them know that Ophanimon was being held at the Rose Morning Star, Cherubimon's castle, and they must go and free her. The Evil Legnedary Warriors bursted in and attacked the children and still weak Seraphimon. Mercuremon was able to kill Seraphimon and steal his holy fractal code, leaving behind a DigiEgg. The kids retreaved the DigiEgg and made their escape. Sorcermon, giving his life to save the DigiDestined and Seraphimon's DigiEgg, held off the Evil Legendary Warriors as long as he could.

Zoe, J.P., and Tommy didn't have as much trouble with controlling their Beast Spirits like Takuya and Koji. J.P. Beast Spirit Evolved into MetalKabuterimon. Zoe's Beast Spirit allowed her to become Zephyrmon. Tommy's discovery of his Beast Spirit led to the birth of Korikakumon. J.P. was able to kill Grumblemon/Gigasmon with his Beast Spirit. They then begin heading to the Rose Morning Star.

Duskmon and Arbormon search for the kids in the area around the Rose Morning Star. The area is filled with darkness, perfect for Duskmon. The DigiDestined encounter the two, attacking them. Arbormon gets beaten up pretty bad, so Duskmon kills him himself. The kids' attacks have little to no effect on Duskmon. He raises his blade to kill Takuya, when KendoGarurumon takes the hit, devolving to Koji. Duskmon, seeing Koji, lets out a scream of darkness, covering the whole area. When Takuya wakes up, a train is waiting to take him home. He Digivolves into Flamemon going home. Deciding he must go back, Takuya returns to see his friends captured by Mercuremon and Lanamon. Luckily, Agunimon is able to free them.

The kids run into Sakkakumon, Mercuremon's Beast Spirit, and are sucked into him. He has mant zones inside him that the kids have to defeat the Digimon in. Zoe is able to kill Ranamon/Calmaramon. One of Koji's opponents was Duskmon. Koji Fusion Spirit Evolves, with the help of Seraphimon's egg, into BeoWolfmon. Duskmon tries to escape when he sees Koji once again, but BeoWolfmon pursues him. Takuya had to fight Mercuremon. Mercuremon used Seraphimon's data to evolve himself into ShadowSeraphimon. After an almost near death, Takuya, with the power of Seaphimon's egg, Fusion Spirit Evolves into Aldamon, taking Seraphimon's Code back then Mercuremon's Human Spirit. After exiting Sakkakumon, Seraphimon's Fractal Code is returned to the DigiEgg and Patamon hatches. Takuya, Zoe, Tommy, and J.P. then kill Sakkakumon, and search for Koji. Duskmon is the only Evil Hybrid left now.

BeoWolfmon and Aldamon are able to defeat Duskmon after he Slide Evolves into his Beast Spirit form, Velgemon. Duskmon/Velgemon's host is shown to be a human named Koichi, Koji's long-lost twin brother. The Spirits of Darkness are cleansed and Loewemon and JagerLoewemon are born.

The DigiDestined, along with the newly added team member, makes their way to the Rose Morning Star to free Ophanimon. At the castle, the kids are able to free Ophanimon. She battles Cherubimon, and just before she is killed, she gives Koji and Takuya the ability to Unified Spirit Evolve into MagnaGarurumon and EmperorGreymon. They are able to kill Cherubimon, but not before he sends a great deal of fractal code to the dark area.

With the death of Cherubimon, Lucemon needed someone to continue to collect data for his resurrection. Lucemon sent Dynasmon and Crusadermon, two extremly powerful Royal Knights, to finish this task for him. In return, Lucemon promised them the key to the real world where they would be able to rule. The Royal Knights tore across the Digital World's lands, devistating its inhabitants, until only the Trailmon rails and the dark area was left. Durring this time, Koichi found out that he's only a spirit in the Digital World, and his body is still in the real world after falling down a flight of stairs.

Lucemon was able to emerge from the dark area, now in posession of all the Digital World's Fractal Code. He told the DigiDestined it was now time for him to remold the Digital World and their choice was to either follow him, or be killed. With no where on the Digital World to go, the DigiDestined headed for the moons. There, they discovered Salamon and Lopmon. Patamon soon recognized them as his old colleagues Ophanimon and Cherubimon. The Royal Knights were soon to follow them to the moon though, and with a final heroic battle, MagnaGarurumon and EmperorGreymon were able to kill them. Lucemon appeared and stole their data, Digivolving into Lucemon Chaos Mode, destroying the moons with an intense attack.

Everyone began to attack Chaos Mode back at the dark area, but Chaos Mode was able to damage Koichi so bad, Chaos Mode stole his data. Koichi passed his Spirits to Koichi, as Takuya let out a blast of fire from his heart, Koji screamed trying to control the power of both darkness and light. Engulfed in the flame, light, and darkness, Koji and Takuya Ancient Spirit Evolve into Susanomon, killing Lucemon Chaos Mode, but helping to create Lucemon Shadowlord Mode. He tried to make a break for the real world, trying to take over the human world as he did with the Digitsl World, but Susanomon was able to keep him at bay. Susanomon was able to defeat Shadowlord Mode, but Lucemon's true form, Lucemon Larva, made a final attack towards Susanomon! The Spirits ejected the kids out from Susanomon, and reverted to their human forms, each taking a slash at Larva with Susanomon's sword, killing him for good, and retuning the data to the Digital World. With a tearful goodbye from Bokomon, the kids return home, knowing the Spirits would protect the Digital World now.

As soon as the DigiDestined return to the real world, they make their way to the stairs that Koichi fell down. All that's left is a lone police officer writting his report. They head to the hospital, busting through the door to the intensive care room. A lifeless Koichi lays on the bed as doctors try to bring him back to life. Koji runs up to him, and begins to cry. Koji's tear brings life back into Koichi, as the Digivices transform back into their cell phones.
